A G-Control is the driver's central position when sitting in a bike which helps the rider get the most comfortable feeling and the most effective driving experience. The allocation of center of driver is important for sport bikes.

The focus of the driver is studied through the figure and the position of the driver to design each type of bike, each size of bike suitably. Through the results of the surveys, manufactures will apply to the design of the vehicle's structure and divide the appropriate distance among the frames.

The G-control is divided according to different purpose on different bikes.

A touring bike is a bike for making a long trip and spend a long time, the sitting posture is designed to be suitable for cycling at a slow speed but does not cause fatigue on the back and hands. Since there is no need to ride as fast as sport bikes, so this model often places the center of the cyclist close to the handlebar which gives comfortable driving. And also, the pedal is placed in the appropriate position to be able to pedal easily.

For a mountain bike, its stem needs to be flexible in order to take the corner and handle obstacles quickly. In addition, it must be able to pedal up hill effectively. Therefore, the saddle is that the back must be long enough, the position of the pedal is also moved backwards which creates a gap between the thigh and the stem to avoid being entangled while down hill as well as up hill easily. The pedal position and the headtube is longer than other bike types which makes the bike more stable when riding on unpaved street.

The way to determine the rider's focus is to stand on the bike, the knees and elbows bent slightly. At that time, the centre of gravity is at rider’s hip and be close to the rear wheel.

The focus of the driver position is affected by the dimension on the bike, but the final result is the distance from the focus point to the front or rear axle of the wheel. The most important points which directly impact on the center of the driver are the center of the front wheel/ the rear wheel and bottom bracket. The position of focus will often be matched with the bottom bracket and will be determined by the percentage between the center of front/ rear wheel.

The most important thing when setting the G-control to be able to maximize the potential of the bike. The G-Control makes the body more comfortable, without using much of power. However, it is still able to control the bike well in all of cases.
