For the design of Ray e – bike, Asama takes an idea from “serotonin” that covey a message “happiness and comfy for rider”. It is designed on battery and frame as a special point of Ray. Colors are thoroughly chosen to ensure attraction and highlight the owner’s youthful looking: "shine black" embodies the mystery; "red" brings to elegance; "blue" is a fresh and gentle color; "pink" represents sweet and cute; special is matte black is trending in recent years.
Comparing to previous bikes of Asama, Ray has a difference at the head. Screen indicates battery bar that is set at the right of the handlebar. The level of battery is showed on black background and green battery bar clearly, it is easy to watch in day and night time. Its area is small to save the battery maximum.
The front light is put at the below of the basket, which helps the light that is close to the road surface and be easy to observe. Further, although it is at the low position, it increases brightness but does not cause dazzle for others. The headlight has 4 LED small lights with metal case and radiator board that allow extending the lifetime of the light. The turning light system is impressive and attractive to people that ride on the same street. Besides, riders themselves can see the front turn signal flashing easily which do not need look at the screen as usual. This leads to save the battery.
The basket is also changed avoiding the case which things fall off. The basket is made from monolithic molded plastic that has high durability under tropical weather. The lit is made by flexible plastic mesh, which has high effect to get things fixed. Due to flexibility, the basket can stash away some a little higher ones which can keep surely. It is more convenient than rigid cap that contain smaller stuff than the size of the basket.
Understanding consumers’ demands that they want to load a lot of things. Ray is equipped with luggage hook on frame as motorbike. This is a detail which a few bike has. It is used to hang heavy weigh items on. In addition, there are front covers to prevent mud and water from the ground. It protects not only things hanging on hook, but legs and legroom. Moreover, legroom is designed largely and spaciously.
